In my family we have one tradition that has been passed down from my great great grandmother Mulinski. Every Christmas and Easter my grandmom and my Aunt Ronnie make a special polish pastry called Chrut Faworkie chrustikis for short. To make this pastry, you mix bread dough with rum. Then shape it into bite size balls, fry it in hot oil and then sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
