The person I interviewed was Filip. He was six years old when he came to the United States. Filip is a friend of my brother, Robbie, and he is in the eleventh grade. Filip came to the United States from Czechoslovakia by airplane. Filip flew into Baltimore Washington International. His parents were already in America so he wanted to join them. His grandparents traveled with him to America and then they went back to Czechoslovakia. He was able to bring almost anything he wanted. He did not have to leave any special valuables behind. When he first arrived he was very scared because he didn't speak English, and it was hard to understand people.
