Hi! I want to tell you about my mechanic life. I was the Director of Aviation for AFLAC Inc. I decided to be an airplane mechanic because I liked airplanes. I joined the US Navy in 1958 and hoped that I could fly the airplanes. Instead, I ended up working on them. I began by working a summer job, working around airplanes in 1957 and retired in 2003. The most fun was just being around the planes and knowing that the planes were fixed properly. I repaired engines, damaged parts and electrical wires. I was and still am an FAA licenced airframe mechanic.
