The Stamp Act started the American Revolution because, The Stamp Act made the 13 colonies of America believe that they could fight for their own freedom. Just after the Sugar Act in 1765, another law was made in the British Parliament for American colonies. This law was about the colonies being required to pay tax on any printed materials. Of course most of the colonies decided NOT to buy things that taxed so much, they disagree with the new law. They thought the British Parliament was NOT supposed to make laws to the colonies. Otherwise the British Parliament would make more laws to collect money from the colonies. The colonies were furious about the new law. They affixed the stamp with skeleton in the middle.
