Mary Bristow was a teacher in WWII. She was very sad to see many of her students leave for war. Yet, she stayed strong and helped with the war effort. She was an air raid warden instructor, on the board for sugar rationing for her community, and always bought war bonds to help out with the war effort. After all the people came back from war, their school had a reunion for the veterans.
