I interviewed my Grandpa Luke. He was born Jan.14, 1918 in Logan Utah. He was 23 when World War II started. Day to day life was mostly studying to try to graduate before the war endened. He mostly remembers when he was in the camps and the training.

During the war he severed at lots of different camps, but never went to Europe. His position in the war was he flew a radio control airplane in front of the big guns.
When concrete was limited he had the bright idea of taking machine gun shells and filling them with mud.
