Reunion Interview Melba Pattillo Home		Back to Age 13 A Very Difficult Life By: Emily N. Wisconsin, Age 13 I would feel overwhelmed and I would be very frustrated if I had to do what Melba did. That was very brave of her to do. I think that I would not have been able to withstand the crowds of angry people if that were me going to Central High. I am very sensitive to people being mean to me, and if I were Melba, I would not have lasted. Right now I am doing a slideshow about Melba and I have realized only now, how hard Melba's life at Central High must have been. Back to Age 13
