If I were in Melba's shoes,I would be so scared because even if I knew I was dong it for my own good people out there were willing to threaten even kill me.Also,I would be worried about myself because many white people were not ready for intergation and would not give into it.Like on Melba's first day, white students were chanting things like''two, four, six, eight we ain't gonna integrate''and mobbing the school looking for the nine black students. On the other hand,I would still have hope because if I succeded other black students will brave the consequences and integrate against their fears of getting hurt. Moreover, like Martin Luther King Jr. said I would be fight for our next generation, which would giveme courage. That's how I would feel.
