Melba Pattillo was a very brave woman. I would never have been able to do what she did. Being threatened everyday would be so frightening! I don't know what I would do if I was ever in a situation even similar to Melba's. She beat the odds and went to that all white school. I could not believe how vicious the parents and students were. If I was her I would probably just stay home. Melba Pattillo was a true warrior and I admire her for that.
