Last year, classrooms collected and donated more than 93,000 pairs of pajamas. Scholastic Book Clubs matched each pair with a book donation made directly to the Pajama Program National Headquarters. The pajamas and books were then distributed by Pajama Program to children in need throughout the country.
This year, we have a new goal: 125,000 pairs of pajamas!

- Encourage your students and their parents to donate pajamas with this parent letter.
- Collect pajamas and submit the online donation form by December 9, 2011. (You must REPORT the donation by this date. However, pajama delivery does not have to happen by this date.)
- Check your e-mail in-box for a reply from the Pajama Program Chapter President in your area within seven days.
- Follow directions in the e-mail regarding delivery of the pj's to an approved Pajama Program Receiving Organization near you.

Pajamas have beendonated so far!
- Brand-new pajamas in all sizes from newborn to adult.
- Pajamas should be a complete set—a top and bottom or an appropriate nightgown.
- Pajamas for all seasons, but especially for the winter months.
Pajama Program is a nonprofit organization that provides new books and new pajamas to children in need, many of whom are waiting and hoping to be adopted. Since 2001, Pajama Program has donated over one million pajamas and books to children nationwide.
