How Alligators Grow Up
Forty white eggs sit in a nest. They are alligator eggs! What happens when the baby alligators hatch? Each baby must get out of its egg. It uses a bump on its snout called an egg tooth. It rips the shell and crawls out. The baby looks like its mom, only smaller.
