Amelia Mary Earhart is born on July 24, 1897 in Atchison, Kansas. Amelia's mother was the first woman to climb the 14,000 foot summil of Pike's Peak in Colorado, 1890. Edwin Earhart, Amelia's father, was a lawyer and somtimes inventor. But because of Edwin's alcohol problem, Amelia ended up living with her grandparents. What I think is that Amelia probably had a very interesting life.
