Amelia's Childhood

When Amelia was a child, she was growing up to be a tomboy. She liked boy stuff. She acted like a boy. She even played with boys things. She loved to climb trees. She belly slammed her sled just to make it go down a snowy hill. She also hunted rats. She shot them with a
.22 Rifle.
When Amelia was ten, she saw her first
plane at a state fair. She didn't like it at first. When a plane flew over her head,
she wasn't scared like a normal girl. On December 28, 1920, Frank Hawks(a pilot)
put her in a plane, and got her 2 or 300
ft. off the ground.
