In 1932 Amelia attempts a solo flight to become the very first person to cross the Atlantic by plane twice.During her flight her engine catches on fire. Her controls also freeze. Her plane gets into a spin, but she manages to pull out of it.
Her only crew was Fred Noonan, but this time she was flying solo.In 1934 Amelia becomes the first person to fly from Hawaii to California.
Her first record breaking flight was in 1920 was her final flight around the world. She took her first flight lesson in Califoria when she was 20.
