After an earlier depressing attempt, Amelia Earhart, an American aviator, has made her decision to fly around the world. Mrs.(George Putnam)Earhart is 39 years old and is the first woman to fly across the Atlantic alone. Her navigator, Fred Noonan, will accompany her. They will depart on the first of June from California. They will then travel to Miami, to Senegal, and on to India. We wish them the best of luck on this outstanding adventure.
