The year is 1937 and after months of preparation Amelia Earhart is ready to make her flight around the world. But the ''Electra'' crashes. A few months later she tries again and is headed for Papua, New Guinea. When she arrived her next destination was Howland Island that is merely a speck in the ocean. Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan never made it to the island. Our best guess is they ran out of gas and drown in the sea. They were never found.
