Amelia Earhart wanted to fly around the world. She prepared in March 1937. July 2 Amelia and Fred Noonan left Florida to Howland Island across the Atlantic Ocean.She crashed in the Atlantic Ocean and President Roosevelt tried to find Amelia and Fred in the South Pacific. They were never found again!
