Amelia Earhart Goes Missing!
By: Bailey H.
New Hampshire, Age 9

7/3/1937

Yesterday, July 2, 1937, Amelia Earhart the first pilot to fly across the Atlantic Ocean and her navigator Fredrick Noonan’s plane disappeared off the radar. The plane is owned by Amelia. They were flying in her Lockheed Vega 10E. It was bright red and Amelia called it her “little red bus”. She chose this plane because it is fast and roomy. She took off from Harbor Grace, New Found land, Canada. What was happening while Amelia went missing my readers? Bill Cosby was born yesterday as well. I have a feeling he will grow up to be a famous comedian with his own show about being a dad. That’s just a prediction. Every body is shocked Amelia hasn’t came back. We don’t know what happened to her. She was an experienced pilot! This is shocking that this could have happened. How could no one find this big red plane it sticks out like Rudolph’s nose! How can NO ONE find this thing? I’m going to figure out as much as I can. Stay tuned for updates on this tragic story.
