Amelia Earhart made and attempt
yesterday and disappeared forever. She
was trying to fly across the entire world
and disappeared. Her disappearence was
made over Howland Island, in the ocean.
She was a well respected, high acheiving
lady. Lots of women and children will
look up to her for many, many years to
come.One of her quotes was:
After midnight the moon set and I was
alone with the stars. I have often said
that the lure of flying is the lure of
beauty, and I need no other flight to
convince me that the reason flyers fly,
whether they know it or not, is the
esthetic appeal of flying
