Amelia the Mystery
By: Mounisha K.
Illinois, Age 10

7/5/1937

1. I think that Amelia Earhart was sent as a spy so that they can see about the Japan naval base and what they are planning, but they accidentally told the Japanese that they are sending a spy . Then the Japanese killed her by shooting at her airplane and she fell into the ocean. Then they killed her and the parts of the airplane are still somewhere in the bottom of the ocean.

2. My next theory is that her navigator probably wasnít paying attention and Amelia was trying to wake him up and she lost control of the plane so she drove into the ocean and both of them swam back to shore and are living on an island we donít know.
