Amelia's First Trip Around the World

In 1937, Amelia started her eventful trip around the world! Amelia started from California then she went to Miami. Then she went to Brazil, Africa, India and New Guinea. She wanted to fly around the world because Amelia wanted to make a world record. She wanted to be the first woman to fly around the world. When she started flying from New Guinea, she had little gasoline left and the people couldn't make any contact with Amelia. So they sent out boats and helicopters, but they couldn't find Amelia because she was lost. She has never been found.
