Family Literacy and Help the School
Jamboree is a magazine fundraising program held as part of
a Scholastic Book Fair. Schools receive part of every dollar
generated. It's a wonderful way to promote reading in the
home while helping schools earn extra money for books, computers,
classroom supplies, field trips and more. Ask your school's Book
Fairs Chairperson for details!
To participate in Reading Jamboree, students and their parents
complete seven postcards with the names and addresses of unique,
legitimate adult family members and friends. Scholastic then
sends these people a one-time offer to purchase popular magazines
and books at super savings up to 85% off cover prices!
These postcards are only used for a one-time mailing and do
not become part of a mailing list.
