Welcome to Powering Your World with Classroom Energy, a national science standards-based program for grades 6-8 developed by Scholastic Inc. and the American Petroleum Institute. In three easy-to-use lessons that challenge students' critical thinking, essay writing, and research skills, you'll find everything you need to teach the basic science about energy, including real-world applications that show how energy is used, the sources from where it comes, and surprising facts about energy around us in our world.
