On winter nights, Lisa loved to go with her Aunt Clara when she took her dog Lucy for a walk. Lisa felt warm and cozy in her warm coat and mittens. Her dark curly hair was tucked under her new woolly hat. Lucy was warm, too, in her thick furry coat.

Lisa felt very excited looking up at all the stars in the huge night sky. She and Aunt Clara talked about pictures the stars made. Lisa was always glad to be with her Aunt Clara and Lucy, of course. Lucy was always fun to be with.

Lisa was happy on these walks. She squeezed her aunt's hand to show how happy she was. Lucy wagged her big fluffy tail to show how happy she was.

The best part of all was coming home. They would all sit by the fire. Lisa would lie on the rug, lean against Lucy, and listen to Aunt Clara read a story. They both felt warm and cozy and happy.
