Penguin Friends Mobile

What you need: scissors, string, hole punch, wire hanger. What you do: 1. Cut out the pictures along the dashed lines. 2. Use a hole punch to cut out the circles. 3. Cut five pieces of string, each one a different length. 4. Tie a piece of string through each of the holes. 5. Tie the other end of each piece to the hanger. 6. Hang your penguin mobile where everyone can see it! When you're finished making your mobile, use it to answer these questions: 1. Look at the Chinstrap. How do you think this penguin got its name? _ 2. What eye markings make the Adélie special? _ 3. Because it is so small, one of the penguins is also known as the "fairy penguin." Which one do you think it is? _ 4. What makes the Rockhopper penguin look different? _ 5. What marking does the Galapagos penguin have on its chest that the others don't? _ 6.
