Once you have a partner class, try these tips for learning together:

Share strategies for solving Math Maven's mysteries with your partner class. Through trial and error, decide which strategy is the most effective.

Exchange original math mysteries with your partner class.

Make charts that describe your class. How many boys? How many girls? How many birthdays in June? Calculate the percentages and email your chart to your partner class. Ask them to send a chart of their class.

Review one of the “money and decimals” mysteries. Find out what type of currency is used by your partner class, and create a mystery using their currency. Create a chart that compares the value of your currency with theirs.

Create a code made of numbers. Send messages to your partner class using this code. They will have to use their math skills to decipher your message!
