In the book Two Ways to Count to Ten, by Ruby Dee, the animals throw a spear in the air and count to ten before it lands on the ground. To speed up the counting, the clever antelope decides to count by 2's: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. How many ways can you think of to count to 10? Write them down. Once you've done this, try a bigger number, like 24. Can you think of all the ways you can count to 24? Write them down, too.
