Linda Gutlohn is president of phonicFinder Services, a provider of software for decodable text analysis. phonicFinder software, which grew out of Ms. Gutlohn¹s extensive research and experience, has been used in the development of a number of major reading programs, including System 44. Ms. Gutlohn is also the co-author of CORE's Teaching Reading Sourcebook, a comprehensive reference for research-based reading instruction. In addition, she has produced a range of K¬-8 materials for various educational publishers. Ms. Gutlohn has over ten years experience as an elementary teacher, and has served as a co-director of a professional development center and a language arts consultant. She is a graduate of Pratt Institute, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
