Scholastic Math Inventory  2–9+ 
Scholastic Math Inventory (SMI) is a research–based, computer–adaptive assessment that provides a direct measure of instructional
readiness through Algebra I. As a universal screener and growth monitor, SMI is administered independently three to five times a
years and provides teachers with immediate actionable data to make instructional decisions and forecast outcomes. SMI reports
students measures on the Quantile Framework for Mathematics.
