Grades K–5 Program Overview

Every moment, of every day, our students are learning how to comprehend their world—
and there is no more potent tool in the service of learning than language, both oral
and written. This is why we created Comprehension Clubs—an engaging teaching resource
categorized by theme, topic, and genre.

4 Reasons Why Every Classroom Needs Comprehension Clubs:

With Interactive Read Alouds and Student Book Clubs, this full-year curriculum encourages talking, thinking, and writing about text every day.

Professional tools and resources inspire teachers to teach with precision, guiding students on the path to college & career readiness.

Collaborative Student Book Clubs encourage all students—including struggling readers and English Language Learners—to find the support they need.

Students engage with authentic fiction and informational texts to build knowledge and academic vocabulary, preparing them for next generation assessments.
