As the primary teaching resource for the program, the Teacher Guide provides all of the information needed for preparing to teach the lessons, step-by-step teaching instructions, guidance for monitoring student progress, and specific information about how to use the other materials in the program.

All of the demonstration materials needed for instruction in the lessons are provided in a zippered mesh bag for convenient storage and access. At the beginning of each lesson in the Teacher Guide, the specific materials needed for the lesson are listed and keyed with T to indicate that they are in this bag.

At the beginning of each lesson in the Teacher Guide, the specific WorkSpace pages related to the lessons are listed. The WorkSpace assignments are integrated into the lessons. Pages are designed to support students’ transition to independent work and to help teachers monitor students’ progress.

These materials are provided in zippered mesh bags, with each bag holding the materials needed for a pair of students. These bags are distributed at the start of each lesson, thus eliminating the need for materials preparation. The specific materials students need from the bag for a particular lesson are listed and keyed with S, and the lesson instructions include when students are to remove the materials they need.
