As the primary teaching resource for the program, the Teacher Guide provides all of the information needed for preparing to teach the lessons, step-by-step teaching instructions, guidance for monitoring student progress, and specific information about how to use the other materials in the program.

To support the mathematics in each module, children’s literature is incorporated into lessons to provide an engaging springboard for instruction. Two copies of the book are provided—one for your classroom library and one to keep close at hand.

At the beginning of each lesson in the Teacher Guide, the specific materials needed for the lesson are listed and keyed with T to indicate that they are in this bag.
