Scholastic Literacy Events Won a 2015 REVERE Award!

Scholastic Literacy Events won a 2015 REVERE (REcognizing Valuable Educational REsources) award in the School Climate category! The winners were announced on June 3, 2015, at the REVERE Awards Gala in Washington, D.C. The award recognized the FACE program Dr. Karen Mapp Presents Scholastic Literacy Events: Bringing Families and Schools Together. The REVERE Awards “identify and honor excellence in high-quality products that support teaching and learning.”
Scholastic Literacy Events are ready-to-use interactive event kits aligned with the Dual Capacity–Building Framework for Family–School Partnerships that engage and empower families to support their children’s academic achievement.
Dr. Karen Mapp is a leading family and community engagement expert. Her research and practice over past 20 years have been devoted to cultivating partnerships between schools, families, and communities for enhancing student achievement and school improvement.
