Read Aloud Mentoring Program
Scholastic REAL helps young people succeed by establishing supportive and beneficial relationships between children and caring adults in an effort to inspire students and build literacy skills. REAL mentors spend an hour each month reading some of the most engaging grade-appropriate fiction and nonfiction books to select classrooms and community centers.

Our district is focused on literacy, and being able to have these great volunteers serve as mentors and give their time was a positive example of how a lifelong love of reading can be beneficial in any career our students would choose.
