Differentiated Support Targeted for ELLs
READ 180 Enterprise Edition software provides direct support in Cantonese, Haitian Creole, Hmong, Spanish, and Vietnamese. In each of these five languages, there are summaries of Anchor Videos, as well as translations of vocabulary words. Other software support includes adjustment of reading speed for each student, text captioning, and button rollover. RDI Book 3, Strategies for English-Language Learners—a separate resource book for teachers of the ELL population—and the rBook Teacher’s Edition both present optional mini-lessons for English-language development.
