Multi-Modal Approach
READ 180 encompasses three different rotations beyond whole-class instruction and allows for learning through varied media: software, paperbacks, and audiobooks. The Software and Independent Reading rotations offer students a learning platform that requires low levels of interpersonal dynamics and creates systematic independence, while Small-Group and Whole-Class Instruction rotations provide teachers the opportunity to interact with their students and expand to other modalities if they choose.
