Individualized Instruction and Reports
The READ 180 Software provides students with passages appropriate to their reading level. As students progress, their content level changes accordingly. This is not branched instruction, but rather adaptive instruction. The Software analyzes a student's response and time to respond, and rewrites itself continually to best meet his or her evolving needs. Additionally, teachers can easily see areas of weaknesses and strengths for students through SAM, leveraging the computer's findings for Small- and Whole-Group Instruction.
