Implementation Training
When a district purchases READ 180, Scholastic will meet with district teams to develop a comprehensive, ongoing implementation and professional development plan. The two days of in-person implementation training for teachers, principals, reading and literacy specialists, and technology specialists offer a mix of informational and interactive activities designed to provide instructional strategies, hands-on experience, and practical suggestions for using READ 180 with confidence.

Over two days of carefully designed training, teachers will learn how to:
• Implement the READ 180 Instructional Model;
• Teach best practices for teaching reading, writing, and vocabulary to adolescents;
• Manage the classroom effectively;
• Use report data to monitor progress and individualize instruction.
For replacement READ 180 teachers or as a refresher for veteran teachers, subsequent implementation training is available for purchase.
