Scholastic Education is pleased to announce the upcoming releases of versions 1.7 and 1.9 of our Enterprise Edition Software including READ 180, Scholastic Reading Inventory, Scholastic Reading Counts!, ReadAbout and FASTT Math.
Included as part of our Product Maintenance and Support Plans, point releases are automatically sent periodically to a school or district with an active plan. These feature-rich software point releases will enhance the student, teacher and administrator experiences with Scholastic’s Enterprise products.
If you do not have a Product Maintenance and Support Plan, or if your plan is expiring, you can easily order by calling Scholastic Customer Service between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. EST at 1-877-234-READ (7323) and choosing option 1.

Enterprise Edition v1.7 - August 2008:
- Improved report sorting capabilities
- Ability to merge custom demographic fields on auto-aggregation servers
- Ability to customize file names on MSPW export files
- Compatibilities with Windows Vista and Mac OS X 10.5
- 206 additional Scholastic Reading Counts! quizzes (READ 180 only)
Enterprise Edition v1.9 - November 2008
- Ability to manage licenses on a web portal where district administrators can activate Scholastic products and assign licenses to schools showing where Enterprise products are in use across the district.
- Districts! Please designate one District License Administrator who will be Scholastic’s initial primary point of contact for managing licenses. After registration this person will have the ability to assign permissions to other district individuals as needed. Please contact Scholastic Customer Service at 1-877-234-READ or Read180custserv@scholastic.com to identify your District Administrator.
- Automatic software updates on workstations and servers for customers that have an active Product Support Plan.
- READ 180 rBook Digital Teaching System for customers with an active Premium Maintenance and Support Plan. Teachers will have access to an online version that links the rBook Teacher Edition; Resources for Differentiated Instruction 1, 2, and 3; Anchor Videos; And Transparencies for Stages A, B, C, and Flex.
