   • QuickTime 7.1.6, which addresses some of these issues, is installed with this maintenance release.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This maintenance release must be installed over a previous version (v1.0.1, v1.1, or v1.2) of the Enterprise Edition READ 180 Client. If you have a READ 180 Client that is v1.1 or earlier installed on the machine, you do not need to install the v1.2 READ 180 client. You can skip that step and install this maintenance release directly over the existing READ 180 client.

1. This release will make it possible to update existing user names in a SAM Enterprise Edition database using the CSV/XML Roster Import tool.

The SAM Patch v1.2.2 also includes all of the fixes in the SAM Patch v1.2.1 listed below:

3. This release fixes an error in which teachers and administrators are unable to find some students using the student search tool in the SAM client. These are students who are not in any classes with assigned teachers (e.g. students who are only in a 'school-wide' class).

4. This release fixes an error in which teachers and administrators are unable to add periods to user names in the SAM client.

5. This release fixes an error that inadvertently causes district administrators to lose administrator access privileges in the SAM client. When a district administrator first tries to edit a teacher's profile, and then edits and saves changes to his/her own profile, the account is converted from a district administrator to a teacher.

SAM Patch v1.2.2 must be installed over an existing SAM v1.2 installation. The SAM Patch v1.2.2 may also be installed over an existing installation of the SAM Patch v1.2.1.

SRI Enterprise Edition v1.2.1 Server Maintenance Release
Download and install this SRI server maintenance release if you migrated students from SMS onto the v1.1 release of Enterprise Edition.

This patch removes any print test score with a 1969 date erroneously inserted during the SMS Migration process onto the v1.1 release of SAM. This error occurred for students who did not have an SRI test score in SMS.  This 1969 print test score also skewed the results of additional SRI tests taken after the migration to Enterprise Edition for students with poor reading abilities.

To address this issue for all students in your SAM Enterprise Edition database, you will need to perform two steps:

1. Step 1: Run this SRI server patch.
2. Step 2: Follow the directions in the enclosed tech note (SRI_Server_1.2.1_TechNote.pdf).  It will help you identify and correct for any additional students that may have been affected by this issue.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
While this issue was caused by a migration from SMS on Enterprise Edition v1.1, you must be on Enterprise Edition v1.2 prior to installing this patch.

READ 180 Enterprise Edition v1.2.1 Server Maintenance Release
Downloading and installing this READ 180 server maintenance release will address the following issues:

1. Completion Success Report shows students with zero completed segments when they have completed segments.
    --> It will now show the correct number of completed segments for all students.
   
   
2. Student Segment Status Report displaying incorrect values of words completed and quick check questions completed to move on to next segment (e.g. Michael answered 16 out of 10 Quick Check questions required to move to the next segment).
    --> It now displays the correct values.
   
   
3. Spelling Zone - Number of Words Mastered within the READ 180 Client returns to zero after upgrading to v1.2.
    --> The value no longer returns to zero, and instead displays words mastered.
   
   
4. Using the READ 180 Grading Tools in the SAM client, users are unable to add new assignments for most valid dates in the past (date validity check not working properly).
    --> Users can now add new assignments for all valid dates in the past.

This SAM maintenance release is intended for Intel Mac servers only. Downloading and installing this release will install a native Intel Mac version of MySQL for Scholastic Enterprise Edition v1.2. 

SRC! Enterprise Edition v1.2.1 Server Maintenance Release
Downloading and installing this SRC! maintenance release will correct three SRC errors as described below:

1. This release fixes an error in which some students are unable to log in to the SRC student client. When they attempt to log in to SRC!, they receive a message alerting them that they are logged in elsewhere, then click OK to replace other instances, but ultimately are prevented from logging in. Students who encounter this issue may receive either of the following messages:
   1. This quiz has already been taken (c55).
   2. Your session has timed out. Please log in again (c50).
2. This release fixes an error in which teachers or administrators are unable to add quiz scores using the SRC! Grading Tools in the SAM client. For some entered dates in the past, it erroneously displays a red alert message, "The selected date cannot be later than today's date."
   

SRC Patch v1.2.1 must be installed over an existing SRC v1.2 installation.

SRC! Enterprise Edition v1.0.1a Collections Update
Applies to version included with READ 180 Enterprise Edition only. The download corrects the problem certain customers have reported in installing quiz collections from CDs that contain fewer than 100 quizzes. This update will correct and prevent that problem.

SMS_Server_3.0.4_Patch
Downloading and installing this SMS Server maintenance release in conjunction with the SMS Client maintenance release will enable the following improvements:

• Integrity Checks will now default to "off" when running the Maintenance Utility from within SMS.
• Class and Group names will no longer be truncated to 15 characters during CSV import.
• The READ 180 Grading Report now accurately reports a student’s current level after it has changed.
• The READ 180 Student Diagnostic Report now filters by date range rather than by student’s current Topic CD.
• The READ 180 Grading Report will no longer count a prematurely-exited Speed Challenge or Spelling Challenge session as a zero.
• The READ 180 Grading Report will now accurately display a student's current level after a level change.
• A rare issue was fixed in which some students were not showing up in the READ 180 Topic CD Report.
• Grammatical errors in the READ 180 Spanish Parent letter have been corrected.
• The SRI Reading Performance Summary report now displays N/A instead of a percentile of 0 when a student has a negative Lexile.
