Read 180 is an evidence-based blended learning solution designed for students in Grades 3–12.

Supporting an MTSS approach, Read 180 integrates research around personalized best practices, adaptive technology, instructional strategies based on the science of reading, and scaffolded support for reading independently. Students receive systematic, explicit instruction and practice of foundational literacy skills to develop their fluency, expand vocabulary and strengthen comprehension skills to become proficient, skillful readers.

Read 180 integrates the most effective RTI-based reading intervention strategies for Tier II and Tier III into one solution, supporting core and intervention teachers of students in Grades 3–12 who are reading below grade level.
Teacher-led sessions and student software were built on the science of reading framework, blending Scarborough's Rope Model and the five pillars of reading to foster skills across all strands while building strong foundations to improve outcomes.
Through its adaptive technology and multisensory approach to reading instruction, Read 180 fosters an inclusive and captivating learning journey that supports a special education curriculum and caters to learners with disabilities such as dyslexia.

Student experience
Students are provided anchoring media at the beginning of each workshop and a phonics code lesson that helps them understand the text.
The Read 180 Student Application provides students with a personalized learning path that accelerates their road to reading proficiency. The Student App allows students to take control of their own learning by tracking their progress toward mastery of reading skills and witness their growth.
Students engage with developmentally and age-appropriate content that will accelerate achievement and growth mindset.
Language Launch, Volume 1 is now available to all Read 180 students. It is designed to support newcomer students in Grades 3–12 who are at the early stages of English language development.

The ReaL Book: Code’s foundational literacy instruction is systematic, explicit, and multisensory, guiding students to “crack the code” of 44 sounds and 26 letters and join the community of readers.
SMART TOOLS
Read 180 includes a suite of teacher-created resources designed to meet students’ individual needs and help them grow as readers. Built on the pillars of reading, these resources help students fully engage with text.
DATA ANALYTICS
NWEA MAP Growth—included in the Read 180 subscription—helps determine students’ eligibility for Tier 2 or 3 intervention and allows teachers to accurately place students into personalized pathways. MAP Growth scores, combined with the personalized student application in Read 180, ensure that students begin their learning with the right content and are comprehensively measured throughout the year.
