Dear `firstNameUp`,
This year ushers in exciting new changes for SRC!
As we migrate toward a subscription-style model, some schools have stated that they need more time to accomplish the move.
Because we never want you to be without new quizzes, you can download FREE e-quizzes from the eNewsletter starting January 2008.
| • |
Look for popular, recently-published quizzes in four grade ranges each month! |
| • | Download either Enterprise Edition or Version 3.0.3 quizzes |
| • | Available to eNewsletter subscribers only |
We will feature quizzes from state reading lists and award winners, and newer popular titles, and if you have a quiz you’d like to see, contact us from the SUGGEST A QUIZ link on our web
site that provides us your request.
Sincerely, Your Scholastic Reading Counts!® Team

Summary Report
In May, we asked if you use a point system to reward students with incentives.

|
|
“Each quarter we have a contest in our classes to see who can get the most points. Sometimes the contest is individual and sometimes it is by group. The students really enjoy it;
and it definitely motivates them to read. The winning child or group gets a gift certificate…”
“At the end of the year students receive gold, silver and bronze medals for the number of points earned. The students with the most words read receive trophies.”
“I do use a point system to reward students. The rewards come from purchases made during the ‘back-to-school’ sales before the school year begins. Also, I use the after holiday clearance sales during the school year.”
