Scholastic Reading Counts! Enterprise Edition is a new version that scales reporting to the district level.
Linked to Scholastic Achievement Manager, or SAM, Scholastic Reading Counts! is building on the same management platform that supports READ 180®, Scholastic Reading Inventory™, and ReadAbout™.
When you convert to Enterprise Edition, you have one central location to manage any and all Scholastic technology programs. You also have assignment capabilities to allow administrators, teacher s and student hierarchical access to the program’s features.
Scholastic Reading Counts! Enterprise Edition can be deployed two ways.
SCHOOLWIDE DEPLOYMENT: Software and quizzes remain on LAN servers and are managed on the school level. Student performance information can be sent to the district level. Schools that own SRC! v2 or v3 are able to convert the SRC! software at a low per-building license fee of $199.00.
DISTRICTWIDE DEPLOYMENT: Software and quizzes are deployed from a centralized district server. Schools that own SRC! v3 or lower own a site license. A district deployment means converting those licenses to a district license, which consist of a one-time fee of $7.50 per student for 2000 or more licenses. Other pricing applies for smaller districts.
This fee provides your district with program software, teacher kits for each site, and access to 40,000 quizzes that have been publishing to September 2007. New quizzes will be offered in twice a year packages at $0.50 per student per year.

If you are READ 180 school converting to a district deployment, new rules apply to how Scholastic Reading Counts! is used in this district wide implementation. Be sure to discuss these options with your sales representative.
