Kalyani Krishnan Kalyani Krishnan, M.A., is a Language and Learning Specialist at ILD. She conducts comprehensive evaluations of children, adolescents and adults with learning and attention-based difficulties. Kalyani specializes in understanding the processing strengths and weaknesses of individuals. She is particularly adept at identifying specific instructional strategies based on individual learning profiles. Her publications and professional presentations include chapters on the assessment and treatment of weaknesses in executive function processes and written language, vocabulary instruction, strategy instruction in the classroom, metacognition, and non-verbal learning disabilities. Previously, she was a reading specialist at Dearborn Academy in Arlington, MA, and an educational specialist at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center in Waltham, MA. Kalyani earned a master's degree in linguistics from Osmania University, Hyderabad India and a second master's degree in learning disabilities from Northwestern University. | |
