U.S. Secretary of Education   Closing the Achievement Gap—for Every Student The No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001 has set the standard for measuring achievement. NCLB requires that each child and each subgroup of children have their progress measured and reported annually. Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI) Enterprise Edition has been specifically designed to help schools and districts meet these requirements through powerful, flexible reports at the schools and district level and data disaggregated by AYP criteria. SRI provides ongoing progress monitoring that provides educators with the data they need to improve the achievement of all students and ensure AYP.
