Background
Microsoft Settlement Vouchers will soon be available to Nebraska’s public schools with at least 50% of their students qualifying for the federal free and reduced-price school lunch programs. Nebraska public school districts will receive vouchers to use on a wide variety of computer hardware, software, and professional development. The first Cy Pres amount of vouchers issued to Nebraska public schools will be 50% of the difference between $22.6 million and the value of the vouchers that are issued to Class Members. The second Cy Pres amount of vouchers issued to schools will be 50% of the difference between the amount of vouchers issued to Class Members and amount of vouchers redeemed by Class Members.
