WESTON WOODS MULTIMEDIA COLLECTION All videos featured in this catalog include full public performance rights for school and library use, unless otherwise noted. Public performance rights are necessary for multiple screenings, public screenings or screenings for combined class groups and libraries. Admission may not be charged at public performances. Videos which are annotated for home use may only be used in classroom settings consistent with U.S. copyright laws. These laws require use of the program in face-to-face instruction in conjunction with a curriculum lesson plan and may not be used for recreation, recess or reward. Many Weston Woods titles are available in 16mm film and/or Sound Filmstrip, while supplies last. Please contact customer service at 1-800-243-5020 to inquire. Paperback books offered on this site may also be available in hardcover. In addition to the paperback book/cassette packages offered on this website, listening center packages of 5 paperback books/cassette are also available for $32.75 each and $38.75 with CD. Single paperback books (without cassette) of any title available in paperback are $5.50 each. All book/cassette or CD packages come in Hang-Up® bags. If you would to receive these FREE bags, please check the box on the order form. Bags will not be included with the order unless the box is checked. Classroom activity guides are available for all titles produced by Weston Woods, except for Author Documentary titles. TELEVISION AND REPRODUCTION RIGHTS - VIDEO & FILM Purchase of Weston Woods videos/DVDs does not include broadcast use. They must be cleared and covered by written agreement prior to broadcast or closed-circuit transmission. Titles on this website are protected by international copyright and may not be reproduced in any form or by any means, including use on television or in information retrieval systems, without prior written permission. CATALOG CARD KITS AND PROCESSING Full library processing is now available for all Weston Woods titles in this catalog. Complete cataloging and processing are based on Dewey Classification System, Sears Subject Headings and AACR2 and USMARC Bibliographic standards. Catalog card kits and MARC records are available for $2.00 per kit/per title, with a minimum order of $15.00 per order. Please complete the Cataloging Order Form in this catalog. Catalog card kits and MARC records will be mailed separately. Please allow an extra two to four weeks for custom processing. When ordering catalog card kits and/or MARC records, the Cataloging Order Form on this site MUST be attached to your order before your order can be processed. PREVIEW POLICY Weston Woods videos selected for possible purchase will be furnished without charge for 45 days free preview by professional staff only. Please make your request 30 days in advance of your viewing date to ensure availability. CAPTIONED VIDEOS Weston Woods videos/DVDs are now available in Closed-Captioned format. All new titles also include a Read-Along feature. Please check catalog listing for titles. In addition to use by the hearing-impaired, research has shown that captioned video can help students make improvements in their reading skills, most notably in comprehension and vocabulary. Videos/DVDs may be used with captions turned on or off, so three options are available – closed-captioned, read-along or no titles. Open-Captioned format videos are also available. Please call Customer Service for a list of available titles. REPLACEMENT POLICY Any worn or damaged Weston Woods video or audiocassette may be replaced within two years of purchase for no charge. Proof-of-purchase of the original format may be required to qualify. Any customer wishing to exchange a format (i.e. filmstrip for video) may purchase the new format at a 25% discount from the current list price. Proof-of-purchase of the original format may be required to qualify. For information about purchasing extra books to go along with our Read-Along cassettes/CDs (RAC's) or about available Listening Center Packages of 5 Paperback Books/Read-Along Cassette/CD, please call Customer Service at 800-243-5020. ORDERING INFORMATION PAYMENT Credit orders are accepted only from institutions. All other customers are requested to enclose payment, including postage, with their orders. Your order may be charged to a Visa or MasterCard account or you may pay by check or money order. Checks and money orders should be made payable to Weston Woods. SHIPPING CHARGES There is a 9% Shipping & Handling Charge, 7% for orders over $500. ($6.00 minimum per shipment). All items are shipped f.o.b. Origin for domestic orders only. AK & HI shipped Priority Mail or UPS 2-Day at prevailing rates. EXPRESS SHIPPING Overnight delivery is available by UPS, DHL and Express Mail at prevailing rates. APO/FPO AND U.S. TERRRITORIES All orders to APO/FPO addresses and U.S. Territories will be sent via USPS Priority Mail. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS All international orders must be prepaid. Please specify method of shipment; current rates will apply. Please note on order form if videos are needed in PAL or SECAM format. For these formats an additional $25 per title will be charged (1-2 videos); additional $10 per title (3 or more videos). Customs duties and taxes are additional. Only titles produced by Weston Woods are available for International Export.
