CONGRATULATIONS! YOU DID IT!
On Friday, December 8, 2006, thanks to the dedication of teachers, parents, librarians around the world, millions of students joined together for one of the largest global read-a-thons, reading for 2,007 seconds (33 ½ minutes) and making the commitment to read throughout the New Year. Because of all of you, Scholastic Read For 2007 was a huge success!

Scholastic’s mission is to help children learn to read and love to read, so we encourage you to continue to make reading a part of your lives and your children's lives every day. Together, let’s renew our commitment to Read For 2007 and Read For Life.
