This course focuses on implementing effective fluency-building techniques in intermediate and middle school classrooms—with the goal of improving reading comprehension.

• Conduct and score an oral fluency assessment.
• Provide direct instruction in building fluency and monitor student progress.
• Incorporate daily fluency-building activities and independent fluency practice into the classroom.
