Zip Zoom English: Reading Success for English Language Learners
Grades K–3
This course focuses on literacy instruction for young English language learners-and includes strategies to help students build skills in oral language, phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, fluency, and writing with Zip Zoom English.


Teachers will learn how to:
  • Create a Zip Zoom English implementation model, place students in the software, and model and teach classroom procedures.
  • Use multiple strategies to develop phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling.
  • Use formal and informal assessments to monitor progress and differentiate instruction.
