Zip Zoom English: Reading Success for English Language Learners
Grades K–3
This course focuses on literacy instruction for young English language learners—and includes strategies to help students build skills in oral language, phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, fluency, and writing with Zip Zoom English.


Teachers will learn how to:
  • Create a Zip Zoom English implementation model, place students in the software, and model and teach classroom procedures.
  • Use multiple strategies to develop phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling.
  • Use formal and informal assessments to monitor progress and differentiate instruction.
