Elephants
Elephants are the largest land animal on Earth. Some adults weigh
in at more than six tons.
With 40,000 muscles, an elephant's trunk is strong enough to rip
a tree from its roots.
An elephant can slurp up to 50 gallons of water into its trunk
each day.
Elephant growls and moans can be heard as far as a mile away.
Where do they live?
Elephants live in the forests of Asia and the savannahs, or grassland with scattered trees, and forests
of Africa.
